The Board has five directors and five supplicants. The Board is appointed by the Swedish Maritime Authority for a three-year period. Two of the Directors are appointed on recommendations from the Ship Owners’ association, one on the recommendation of the Sea officers’ union and one on the recommendation of the Seamen’s union. The following Board members were appointed by the Maritime Authority for the period 1st May 2011 to 30 April 2014.
