The Foundation recognises by way of awards impressive actions or excellent seamanship in conjunction with incidents or accidents onboard or during rescue operations. The award can be given to individuals or groups that in a definitive way affected the outcome of a maritime accident where Swedish lives or interests were involved.
Suggestions of occurrences which may meet the award criteria should be sent to the Foundation’s office.
